/ THE CRAFT

The Alluvial Origin

Our vessels are shaped from clays that spent centuries under riverbeds. We do not scrub away the iron spots or kiln scars; they are the voice of the earth.

Each vessel rests in the wood kiln for four days, enduring intense heat and natural ash accumulation. The resulting surfaces are unrepeatable records of fire and mineral chemistry.

We embrace the slow, unpredictable nature of wood-firing, allowing the kiln to dictate the final texture, color, and character of the finished piece.

Extracted from high-altitude weathered granite veins, producing a pale, highly textured body.

Fired for ninety-six hours with local pine, creating natural glazed surfaces from flying ash.
